The practical passenger limit is up to six people. If you are bringing instruments, cases, luggage or other equipment, tell us in advance. Available cargo space depends on passenger count and the size of the items traveling with you.
We do not automatically promise space for every instrument or large piece of equipment. The practical setup is confirmed in advance as part of planning the studio visit.
For artists within a reasonable driving distance of Philadelphia, a long recording day can make the trip more practical than repeatedly traveling for short sessions.

You want to work at Ronter Sound but would rather not spend several hours behind the wheel before and after the session.

A long session requires attention and energy. You may prefer to rest during the trip rather than combine a full studio day with several hours of driving.
A coordinated studio trip can reduce the need to build a route from multiple trains, stations, rideshare pickups and a final connection to the studio.
Some vocalists would rather use travel time to rest, hydrate and mentally prepare instead of concentrating on a long drive before recording.

You are welcome to drive yourself, use rail or public transportation where practical, arrange your own private car service, use rideshare, or make any other travel arrangements that work for you.
